I've had to relocate here to Colorado from NJ with my 3 boys, ages 6,4,and 10 months. We are currently staying in a domestic violence shelter in the Fort Collins area which is temporary. Our last day here will be April 5th. Being a transplant, I am needing to completly establish myself from basically nothing. In order to do that, I need a stable place to stay in order to enroll my kids in school /daycare, which would allow me to search for and obtain work (which I am confident in happening). Once I have a job, I can then obtain our own housing and take it from there. I just need someone to help me bridge that gap from here to there, which I am guesstimating at a max of 3 months. Otherwise, I'm told with all shelters being filled, and years in waiting lists for help, our only other option at this point would be to go through the Homeless Gear Program and live in a tent. I'm able to contribute some money(up to $400month), as well as chores, etc. I will also buy all of our own food/personal needs. All I need is a place to stay.
