The Minister of Music is responsible for assisting in promoting growth and excellency in the area of music. They prepare weekly music for service with the spirit of excellence.
KNOW HOW
This position requires a multi-talented musician. The musician should have experience in the area of worship. He/she should have a level of spiritual maturity and promote teamwork and unity. He/she must have the flexibility to work with various types of people. In addition, considerable sensitivity is required to ensure respect for the diversity of the atmosphere between traditional and contemporary worship. Needs to be able to sight-read music, play by ear occasionally, and follow chord charts.
Genre of music: Gospel, Christian Contemporary, and Praise & Worship music.
