Hello!
If you're reading this, then you've probably been looking into guitar lessons for yourself, a friend, or a loved one. My name is, Art Stagnitta and I am a local, professional guitar instructor. I've been playing and teaching guitar for over 50 years. I teach individual lessons for beginner through intermediate, both electric and acoustic, children 8 years and older, and adults. Classical, rock, blues, and country styles, music reading and music theory.
Maybe you've seen sets of DVD's or books or info-mercials that promise to teach you to play in amazingly short periods of time. Or possibly you've looked into some of the available instruction locally and are not comfortable with the atmosphere or policies. It stands to reason that students will thrive in a one on one instruction setting. And it's the rare individual who can self-instruct from books or other media without critique from a qualified teacher. I do not subscribe to any one method of teaching, but instead gear the lesson to the student's needs and ability.
Generally, my schedule is Mon-Sat. Hours are 3 to 7 pm Mon-Thurs, 3 to 5 pm Fri., 10 to 1 pm and 3 to 5 pm Sat. as these are the hours when most of my students are available. I can also accommodate other times outside of these hours if needed, including daytime sessions. Typically, I try to work around your schedule as best as possible. Lessons are scheduled regularly, once a week and are 30 minutes long per lesson. I do not require a long term agreement or contract of any kind and my rates are very reasonable. My studio is in my home and I am located in the southeast corner of Highlands Ranch near Quebec and University, about one mile south of the post office in the Wildcat Ridge subdivision. Parents are always welcome to sit in on the lesson or relax in the waiting area.
For further information or to schedule a lesson time, I can be reached at 303-662-xxxx (studio) or 303-956-xxxx (cell). As always, the first lesson is at no cost to you and is an opportunity to clarify all questions and concerns before we begin. Also, this is an opportunity for me to inspect the student's instrument to be certain that it is in good working order. References available.
