Guitar teacher at your service! Music is my life and I have great commitment for it that I want to share.
Experience includes:
* 17 years self study and study under several guitar instructors.
* Bachelor's in Music from CU Denver (music theory, music performance, songwriting, recording arts)
* Internship / Assistant Engineer at a downtown Denver recording studio.
* Professional Recording
* Live Performance at restaurants and coffee shops, Fort Collins Art Museum and other art galleries and more. I am currently booking a show at the Loveland art gallery.
* Frequent paid and volunteer gigs
I've played over half my life, emphasizing in rock (electric), classical, fingerstyle (acoustic), experimental and blues and jazz. We can concentrate on writing, learning songs, theory, or some combination--I leave it up to the student so that we start with what THEY find most fulfilling about music. Theory and formal training are important, but not at the cost of the initial spark that attracted the student in the first place.
I'm also adept at home recording and Pro Tools and we can incorporate that as well. To keep myself teaching as much as possible, I keep my rate...
