Drum Lessons in Denver Go High Tech! in Fort Collins, Colorado For Sale

Price: $50
Type: Music instruments, For Sale - Private.

My name is Peter Gregory and I am a professional drummer offering drum lessons in the Denver metro area. I perform at Dazzle, El Chapultepec, Lannie's Clocktower, The Denver Center for the Performing Arts (including White Christmas xxxx), as well as numerous festivals and private engagements. Some of the artists I've played with include Richie Cole, Nelson Rangell, Lannie Garrett, Bo Diddley and The Drifters.
I have been playing the drums for over forty years and have been teaching drum lessons for twenty-six of those years. During that time, I have become well-versed in many styles and techniques. I have performed with many different artists and will teach you how to make music. Learn how proper technique can be applied to any style. Learn to sight read while holding down a groove.
I taught percussion at The Juilliard School for nine years during my twenty-one years in NYC, as well as teaching privately outside of Juilliard. I studied at The Berklee College of Music in Boston.
My state-of-the-art studio, Gregory Tech Drum Center, combines learning tools that trigger all the senses required to learn: sight, touch, and sound. To start with, my students learn to play on drums, not practice pads: the Drum Center is equipped with professional-quality drum sets, cymbals and hardware. This alone makes a huge difference, as students gain confidence playing a full drum set and learn how different techniques produce different sounds.
But it is the Gregory Tech Drum Center's technology that really sets it apart. HD video cameras are positioned to give overhead and kick-drum views of the student and instructor's kits, and tripod-mounted cameras are also set up for special shots. The images from the cameras appear on three large flat-screen color monitors, which can be split to show side-by-side views of teacher and student hand or foot movements. The monitors can also show instructional videos, videos streaming from the internet, and more. This is particularly compelling for younger students, who are comfortable learning in a video-based environment. It's also just fun!
The cameras allow recording of the lesson, which I burn to a DVD so students can take the lesson home for review on their own. There's also a webcam by which parents can watch a student's lesson via the internet from anywhere. The webcam can also be used for one-to-one lessons regardless of where you live! The Gregory Tech Drum Center is also equipped with a 32-channel Toft mixer, professional microphones, Pro Tools, pro headphones, midi drum controller, and drum machine with click track capabilities.
Call me at 720.989.xxxx or simply reply to this posting. I am organized and have fun teaching. The Gregory Tech Drum Center is in Englewood, near University and Yale (DU area). It is centrally located near Southeast Denver, Cherry Creek, Greenwood Village and Glendale.
