Position Overview/Summary: Responsible for oversight of all aspects of field construction projects including but not limited to mechanical and electrical system installations, welding, and other onsite construction. Responsible for understanding, complying to, and enforcing all Dresser-Rand and customer safety requirements. Duties include schedule tracking, ensuring quality, verbal and written communications with Dresser-Rand Enginuity management and customers, and ensuring complete customer satisfaction. This position is located in Fort Collins, CO. Position Qualifications (Required and Preferred): Required: Represent Dresser-Rand Enginuity to industry, customers, vendors, etc. in a professional manner Must be able to drive a vehicle and be insurable by Company Able to communicate effectively with team members and outside parties Abilit to travel approximately 50% Able to lift up to 50 lbs Ability to sit, stand, bend, reach, utilize various equipment/toos and move freely about the job site Able to multi-task and work with minimal supervision. Must be able to pass First Aid and safety training programs Preferred: Technical knowledge of industrial engine systems High school diploma or equivalent Proficient in Microsoft Windows Office Suite Minimum 5 years of related practical experience in industrial projects Excellent communication skills with ability to translate technical information into basic understanding to a diverse audience Position Responsibilities and Duties: Assist in the facilitation of projects regarding construction-related issues from proposal development, design development, procurement, field construction, start up & commissioning, project review, to project closeout Assist engineering department with design development and review Develop construction schedules & maintain schedule updates Assist procurement department with material procurement and delivery schedules Establish and maintain customer communications and relations at the work site Assist with project mobilization & demobilization Prepare daily and weekly field reports Initiate & lead project kick off meeting at the work site Schedule, coordinate, direct and supervise subcontractors Educate, encourage, and enforce safe work site practices, including Op Qual Perform on site quality assurance / quality control Certify subcontractor labor and materials Track and document costs related to change order work and non-budgeted work Produce and maintain as-built and re-design field information to communicate with the engineering department at project completion Recommend engineering design modifications for design improvement, improvements in fabrication quality and appearance, reductions in fabrication costs and / or construction costs Dresser-Rand is an equal opportunity employer.
